Collaboration and Signbearer
Signbearer represents an ideal: that a group of people—united by artistic aesthetics, ideals, and social connection—can set aside a shallow pursuit of personal career success to work for their collective social good.
How We Work
Individuals within Signbearer direct their own creative work with collaborators they choose. Inevitably, these collaborators also are releasing material on Signbearer—the personal becomes professional becomes creative. By deeply knowing each other, the quality of the work improves.
Intentionality and the Collective
Signbearer artists’ work is characterized by two things: a deep consideration of the connection between their music and the world in which they live, and the wisdom of collaborating with friends who may move through that world differently.
